Is there an estimate of how many English family branches remain? It would be interesting to visualize how many are left and see them eventually become wards.

A new Searcy Arkansas Stake was created today in Central Arkansas, making it the 6th stake in Arkansas. Please give us details ASAP. Thanks!

My stake, and in fact the whole Detroit Mission, is down to only 2 English-speaking, not YSA branch, although one is bilingual. However, the inner-city conditions that gave us at one time just under 20 years ago 11 urban branches of that type (plus 4 small town or far out emerging suburbs branches) still exist. Plus, I could see we have some large wards that I could see reason to split a branch out of.

The Michigan Lansing Mission has a district that is all English speaking branches, and even outside the district there may be more branches than wards in that mission, so the demise of the English, family ward is not near.

Even in the Salt Lake valley there are a few non-retirement community, English, regular branches. Probably less than 5 but they still exist there. Actually, it is not exactly still, since I could find times in the past where there were none.

Even in this report there were 2 non-specialized English-speaking branches created.
